Weston and Alexus... MCC Prom 2009

I had the pleasure of seeing Weston and Alexus prior to their leaving for dinner and dancing on MCC prom night 2009. Not only are they a great couple with awesome personalities, but they totally looked like rock stars! Don't they look fabulous?

Check them out...

Project 365, Day 115 (4-25-09) Everybody was Kung-Fu Fighting!

Well, more like tae kwon do.... not kung fu. But now you've got that song stuck in your head, I'm sure, and you're welcome.

The boys tested out for tae kwon do again today, and I'm proud to say that we now have a Red belt Dragon

Project 365, Day 114 (4-24-09) L-E-G-O

I never owned a single lego when I was a kid. I was more of a Barbie gal myself. All of the sudden, I have been forced into mastering 42-page instruction booklets and putting together Star Wars ships with moving parts. When I should be cleaning and preparing for a photo shoot. Ah well... Chewbacca and Logan are both happy now.

Project 365, Day 112 (4-22-09) Budding

I find myself searching for every little sign of spring, as, like everyone else in Michigan and similiar climates, I'm SO sick of the cold! I saw a glimpse of hope today in the little buds beginning to form on the tree in our front yard.

Project 365, Day 111 (4-21-09) Same plan, different kid.

Tonight was Jacks' class' performance of "The Box". Jackson was thrilled and squealed with delight when I surprised him with going out for ice cream!

Project 365, Day 110 (4-20-09) The Box

Tonight I had the pleasure of seeing Logan and his classmates perform an adorable musical performance called "The Box". There is nothing cuter than watching these little guys and gals in action after all their hard work!

After, Logan and I had a milkshake date at the House of Flavors. Tomorrow... deja vu... same performance, different milkshake, for Jacks.

Project 365, Day 109 (4-19-09) Ahh... springtime in Michigan...

Yesterday we were outside almost all day, breathing in fresh air and letting the glorious sunshine beat down upon our faces. We created sidewalk works-of-art, played hide-n-seek, and even picniced on the deck.

I'm glad we were able to enjoy the weather yesterday, because today... it rained. And rained. And rained.

Everything was wet...gray...and dreary. Hopefully there aren't too many days in store for us like this!

David is TWO!!!

Yes, you heard that right... David is....

!

David was an absolute angel today! His mom and I couldn't have asked for him to behave any better. I really had a lot of fun with him, and everyone was very relaxed.

Mr. David warmed up to me a bit more than last time I saw him, and I was pleasantly surprised with how silly he's become! It's such a joy to see a child's real personality shine through. And boy, does he have personality! :)

Here are a few more of my favorites from today...

THANK YOU, David, for being such a GREAT "model". I had a lot of fun playing with you and hope you don't think I'm crazy now that you've seen me in blue bunny ears! :) Thank you also to David's mommy, Joy, for putting her trust in me yet again. I hope you love your photos! :)

Project 365, Day 108 (4-18-09) Fun with David!

When David visited me back in December, he was oh-so-serious! I was glad this time around to really see his personality! I had so much fun with this little guy... we just played, and I took photos. Easy peasy. Nice relaxing shoot for Mom, who is due to have #3 in June!

Here's little David hamming it up...

Project 365, Day 107 (4/17/09) Life Lesson # 254.

When you go to the barber, sit still. Mind your manners. Do not fuss. Do not cry. Do not behave as though you are enduring grueling Chinese torture. Or you may end up with a haircut that is not particularly what you had in mind.

Like my bald son.

And just so you have a comparison, here's Shaggy 2 days before this chop job.

Project 365, Day 106 (4/16/09) Mama didn't raise no fool.

It was beautiful outside today, and when we got home in the afternoon, Liz made a beeline to the backyard before I could bat an eyelash! I tried to coax her in with chocolate milk, cookies, you name it...

Photobucket

but she wasn't taking the bait! I guess "mama didn't raise no fool"! :)

Photobucket

So, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right? I guess it was playtime.

Oh, and Liz also made a point of showing her "feminine" side yet again... *sigh*

I think I had three boys... the last one just came in a girl's body. :)

Project 365, Day 105 (4/15/09) Out with the old... in with the new!

Marc's mom and dad and I pitched in to get him an early birthday birthday present... a new grill!

Our old one was on it's last leg...

and looks a little sad next to the new shiny one.

I kept my promise. Here's the room that is once again fit for a Princess. :)
