Project 365, Day 63 (3/4/09) Easy Peasy Ham 'n Cheesy

Here's a super easy recipe for a busy day, brought to you by Myra Stuart. (She's Martha's lesser-known and less crafty half-second-step-sister.)

Cheddar & Ham Foldover

Ingredients

1 pkg Oscar Meyer deli-style ham
1 tube Pillsbury refridgerator thin pizza crust dough
1 C Cheddar cheese
1/4 C Miracle Whip
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbs shaker parmesean cheese

Preheat your oven to 350.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough.

Layer ham on dough, leaving about 1" on all sides.

Mix cheese and miracle whip;

and layer over ham.

Moisten the edges of the dough my dampening your fingers with water and lightly tapping along the edges. Fold 1/3 of the dough toward the middle.

Fold the other 1/3 over, press the ends together, and place seam-side down on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Make three slits in the dough using kitchen scissors.

Brush with the beaten egg,

shake with parmesean,

and bake 30-35 min. or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let stand at least 10minutes before cutting.

(And wouldn't you know... I completely forgot to take a photo of the finished product! Oops!)
